Construction Planning Engineer – Central London
Construction Planning Engineer is required by a leading name in the UK Main Contracting business that has a reputation for delivering high quality construction projects. Due to the upturn in the UK Construction market and a significant increase in current workloads they are now seeking a Planning Engineer to help reinforce their regional operations planning function based in Central London.
Reporting in to the division’s Planning Manager you will work alongside the other planners within the team and be responsible for both tender and contract planning on new build and construction projects that range in value between £5m to £60m. The Construction Planning Engineer will be required to visit sites on a weekly basis which will be located in London as this is the division’s catchment area.
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
· 3-5 years planning experience within a similar role.
· Tender experience on UK Construction projects – preferably you will have experience of residential, schools, healthcare and student accommodation projects.
· Experienced user of Asta Powerproject.
· 3D/4D design experience would be beneficial but not essential.
· Strong communication skills.
On offer is a basic salary of up to £55,000 plus an attractive benefits package including car / car allowance, pension, healthcare.
