Our clients, an International Consultancy, are looking to appoint a Senior Planning Engineer to join their Nuclear team in the South East. The role will suit someone who is already working as a Senior Planner within the energy sector for a main contractor or consultancy.
To be considered for this position you will have experience of EPCM and also of working on £100m+ projects.
It is essential that all applicants have more than 5 years of experience in multiple, complex, projects in a safety critical environment (nuclear new build, power station etc.) with a demonstrable track record of delivering results, programme finances and presenting results to management.
You will be able to demonstrate programme management and extensive experience in scheduling and planning using Primavera. Additionally you will have experience in project strategy, cost control and monitoring, and commercial/contract knowledge. This should ideally include setting up budgets/forecasting, provision of monthly cost reports and change management.
Demonstrable excellent communication skills is a pre-requisite, as is the ability to present project controls issues in a simple, clear and concise manner.
You will require to engender and maintain Client Relationships as well as managing successful programmes.
