Our client is a top UK main contractor who work across a wide range of sectors. Together, we are actively looking for an experienced Project Planner to join them on a long term freelance basis to work on their UK airport projects, working on interior fit out & refurbishment projects to the retail & passenger areas along with external works to car parks, runways and aprons.
You will work on both pre-tender planning and on live jobs. The position will be largely based on site at Heathrow Airport.
Responsibilities:
· To monitor/develop and report on construction phase works
· To assist tender stage programming
· To obtain all relevant documentation for programme development
· To work closely with Estimator/Bid Manager/Design & Build Manager
· To assist in the training of production (contract) team management
· To analyse and develop construction methodology
· To keep updated on modern methods of construction to assist bid process
Experience Required:
· Construction based planning experience
· Experience of both live jobs and pre-tender planning
· Degree qualified or equivalent
