Client:
A major defence contractor operating out of a site in Berkshire as part of a group working on an on-going scheme for the MOD/Ministry of Defence.
The role:
Programme planning (progress reporting, monitoring, programme creation), scheduling, reporting, developing critical path, identify & forecast time scales and resources, customer liaison, summarisation of data, work closely with project team, earned value management, ensure continuous safety on this safety critical site.
This site is undergoing continuous improvement therefore much of the current workload will entail construction planning of new buildings/offices etc.
The candidates:
- Must be eligible to live and work in the UK as security clearance is required for this position. This means that applicants must have lived, worked in the UK and held a UK passport for a minimum of 5 years. Candidates must also hold a clean criminal record and no history of bankruptcy.
- 1 – 4 years planning experience using either Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject
- Relevant, qualification, degree or masters is essential for this role and will speed up the security clearance application process
- Must hold experience working on refurbishment or new build construction projects
- Will have worked for a major contractor and have a strong background working on site
- A keen attitude to grow and develop within a busy and successful organisation
- Will be willing to learn and undertake various training courses to expand on skill set
