Senior Project Controller - CANADA
My client is a global EPCM organization that employs circa 10,000 people for their operations worldwide within specialist sectors including mining, minerals, infrastructure, transportation and energy sectors. Due to increasing workloads they are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Project Controller to join their team based in Saskatoon, CANADA.
The Senior Project Controller is required to assist with the overall delivery of Project Controls including Estimating, Cost Engineering, Planning and Scheduling projects.
The Project Controls Manager will be responsible the following:

- Ability to work and communicate positively within a team based environment
- Commitment to taking responsibility for job function.
- Ability to look beyond their job function and task, and understand how their work is used and influences others.
- Organize and be accountable for accurate preparation of weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports to the client, the project team and Hatch corporate requirements
- Responsible for the effective implementation of project controls procedures and tools, including progress measurement, change management, planning, cost engineering and estimating on the project.
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience to be considered for this opportunity.
- Preferably hold an engineering degree or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years Project Controls experience
- Previous experience of working with an EPCM organization is essential.
- Hands on experience using Primavera P6
- Stable career history
- Major project experience and exposure to all areas of project controls.
- Must be fully familiar with the Project Control Process, including cost control and cost reporting.
- Must be fully conversant with Project Management terminology. PMP designation desirable.
