Construction Planning Engineer – Kent
Construction Planning Engineer is required for a vacancy based in Kent - the company is a well known contracting business that comprises of a UK wide network of offices. A very competetive salary is on offer of up to £45,000 plus a fully comprehensive main contractor benefits package for the right individual, which includes car or car allowance, pension, healthcare etc.
My client is seeking to appoint a Construction Planning Engineer with circa 5 years experience to join their Major Projects Division that are responsible for new build & construction projects over £40m. Their business unit covers Kent & Sussex and due to recent project wins and a secure order book they have a requirement to reinforce their planning capabilities.
The Construction Planning Engineer will initially join a site team that is responsible for the delivery of a £50m new build project in Kent. The Construction Planning Engineer will be site based and report directly into the Project Director and the regions Planning Manager will be on hand to provide support. In addition to their site responsibilities the Planner will also be responsible for providing planning support for tenders to help assist the business win new projects.
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience to be considered for this opportunity:
- Educated within a engineering discipline.
- Good knowledge of Asta Powerproject
- Circa 5 years planning experience is required gained on UK New Build projects.
- Exposure to both tender and contract planning
- Strong communication skills
- Strong understanding of construction techniques.
