Planning & Project Controls Manager - Adelaide
A well known main contractor that operates internationally and plays a part in the delivery of some of the world’s most high profile projects is currently seeking to appoint a Planning & Project Controls Manager for their Rail Division based in Adelaide.
The Planning & Project Controls Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Planning & Project Controls function of their rail business in the region and in addition they will be responsible for undertaking a key role in the delivery of a major metro project in Adelaide.
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate a high level of skill in project cost control and programme planning for large scale construction projects. In addition you will have expert systems knowledge of computerised project and document control and reporting systems, with emphasis on scheduling, cost monitoring, and earned value analysis using Primavera P6.
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience to be considered for this opportunity:
· Hold a degree in a construction related discipline
· Minimum 10 years planning experience.
· Strong major projects experience within a rail environment.
· Ability to lead and mentor other planners.
· Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 software
· Strong communication and presentation skills.
On offer is a basic salary circa £100,000 per annum plus a fully comprehensive main contractor benefits package which comprises of car or car allowance, healthcare, pension etc.
