A vital role in the delivery of a major construction capital programme, this is an exciting opportunity for a project programmer. You will provide skilled assistance in the development of a programme management system for Overhead Line and Cable aspects of the Construction portfolio, to enable a clear view of the portfolio of works and facilitate the tracking of progress and performance in active projects.
Providing guidance and support on programme management systems and software, you will develop, agree and maintain an effective system, including resources and outages planning within the scope of the team. You will also be responsible for preparing analysis and reports for the overhead line and cable portfolio, including resource analysis and forecasting, production monitoring, risk identification and assessment, and benchmarking data. Ensuring efficiency, and providing an important link with wider teams whilst integrating plans / managing interdependencies, you will make a crucial contribution.
To join us, you will need to combine commercial acumen with persuasive communication, collaboration and relationship building skills. Educated to degree level (or equivalent) you have a track record of commercial programme management experience, including financial and people management. You have demonstrable experience using planning software tools (Primavera preferred but not essential), and in Earned Value Analysis and productivity data collection and analysis. A proven ability to present detailed schedules, programmes and reports in senior management forums is essential.
