PROJECT CONTROLS MANAGER – ROADS & HIGHWAYS- Middle East
Our client a government organization in the Middle east are seeking a Project Controls Manager/ Asset Manager for a position based from their offices in Qatar. The successful Project Controls Manager will report to the corporate team as well as operational reporting to the Management within Asset Affairs and have responsibility for Asset reporting for the Roads and Drainage Projects, tracking progress with the investment programme, ensuring it is in alignment with its vision. This position is only open to candidates with experience in the Roads & Highways Sector.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE PROJECT CONTROLS MANAGER
You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting performance and delivery of, scope management, highlighting deviations from baseline and its consequences, tracking planned against actual progress using earned value management.
You will also be responsible for performance of contractors against prescribed key performance indicators, tracking procurement of new projects and assisting in identifying and developing risk management plans to meet targets
You will be responsible for communicating and interfacing between service providers and establish service level agreements. Providing monthly reporting and progress reports.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PROJECT CONTROLS MANAGER
A university degree is essential for this position, applications cannot be considered without this. Engineering, Business and Administration, project management, quantity Surveying. Degrees in other relevant fields will also be considered. Masters and Chartered Status are desirable
Significant understanding and use of Primavera P6 and at least 15 years experience of project controls on Roads and Drainage projects, preferably within a government agency. Candidates cannot be considered without significant experience
Extreme Proficiency in spoken and written English
