PROGRAMME MANAGER - AIR TRAFFIC MANAGMENT -UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
My client are seeking a Programme Manager for their Programme Delivery Department based from their offices in the Middle East. The successful programme manager will have significant experience of the construction and implementation of Air Traffic Management projects.
Role and Responsibilities
You will report to the Head of Strategy for Air Traffic Management. The main purpose if the role is to provide leadership to the Programme Delivery Department, and to deliver a programme of Air Traffic Management projects aligned with the timescales of the operational plan to achieve strategic goals
You will be responsible for driving each project to completion, by focusing best use of time and resources, sharing ideas and influencing key stakeholders
Requirements for the Programme Manager
It is essential that you have a degree qualification, in Project Management or equivalent and either PRINCE 2 or Six sigma.
A thorough understanding of both programme control and project management methodologies.
Significant experience of the Air traffic control environment, with a blend of business and technical knowledge
The ability to identify risks and issues affecting the programmes success, proven leadership and interpersonal skills are essential, along with demonstrable planning skills.
You will have proven senior level experience and a track history of planning and driving the delivery of complex programmes on time and within budget to achieve strategic goals.
A minimum of circa 8 years programme management experience ideally with an Air navigation service provider at a major international airport.
