A great new opportunity has just been created with our client, a major engineering company in the North East of England.  Recent new business wins plus  with a strong pipeline of tenders means that they are now looking for a Lead Planning Engineer to join the team.  Reporting to the Planning Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering multi-disciplinary programmes for water projects across the project lifecycle, with an emphasis on cost and time efficiency.   The programmes will incorporate aspects of process engineering, civils, M&E and commissioning services You’ll also be responsible for identifying and managing schedule risks, and acting as a mentor to more junior planning staff.

In order to be considered for the role, you must meet the following criteria:



- strong track record of planning UK water sector projects;

- experience of using Primavera P3e and MS Project;

- excellent organisational skills;

- the ability to motivate others towards a common goal.



In return, you’ll be rewarded with a salary in the range of £40k - £50k + competitive benefits package.
