Programme Controls Manager

My client is responsble for a variety of Rail projects throughout the United Kingdom including station construction, civil engineering, structures, signalling and electrification, and utilities.

 

A Programme Controls Manager/Planning Manager is required to join a team involved with Signalling and Electrification projects.  You will be responsible for general Planning duties and your expertise will include earned value analysis, critical path, risk and risk contingency, analysis and reporting on slippage, cost, resource requirements, and progress reporting.  You will need to have a good understanding of mainline Rail projects, and some knowledge of electrification, power supply, or signalling projects would be of particular interest. You will manage 2 Planners and will be responsible for a major programme, overseeing schedules, reports, and general performance. Performance of the programme will be essential. You will have a good understanding of establishing control processes and procedures, and control systems. You will be an excellent communicator, working wioth Project Management and Commercial team. You will have gained knowledge and understanding from working on complex programmes within the Rail sector. You will be able to use Primavera P3e.

 

You will receive a daily rate of £380. You will be located in the in the Croydon offices, Greater London, UK.
