Central Programme Management Ltd is a Project and Possession Planning consultancy, dedicated to improving the railway.

We are currently recruiting an experienced P6 Rail Planner on a Contract basis to work for us on a series of contracts within the rail industry. The initial assignment will be to work for our client who is implementing a significant PWay and Civils upgrade to the Railway in the Midlands.

This initial role is likely to last until Dec 2011 with a probable extension through next year.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience reporting in to Network Rail
  • 7 years or more planning railway construction
  • Convert tender programmes to agreed baseline programme
  • Resource load programmes
  • Review Contractors programmes
  • An understanding of claims would be an advantage
  • Ensure safety is planned in to every weekends work.

This role is only suited to UK residents with a strong railway background
