Senior Construction Planning Engineer – London
Senior Construction Planning Engineer is required for a vacancy in London – the company is a well known contracting business that comprises of a UK wide network of offices. A very competetive salary is on offer of up to £65,000 plus package plus a fully comprehensive main contractor benefits package for the right individual.
The company is a well known contracting business that comprises of a UK wide network of offices. Due to increasing workloads they are seeking to appoint a Senior Planning Engineer to support the Regional Director by ensuring that all aspects of the works being tendered or managed are properly planned through the production and monitoring of a construction programme and Design & Procurement programme, complete with supplementary phasing, method statement, critcal path analysis production etc. The Senior Planning Engineer willliaise with all other relevant parties as required within the business, such as the Contracts Managers, Estimators, Commercial Managers, Project Managers etc and relevant parties external to the business such as Client’s Representative or the CDM Co-ordinator etc to ensure that these objectives are achieved.
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- High level of experience of using ASTA power project programming software to produce programmes complete with an expert ability to assess the progress of activities on site and use the ASTA power project programming software to produce progress reports complete with dropline programmes and rescheduled programmes.
- Demonstrable experience of working on construction projects across many of the construction industry sectors for project values between £2M - £30M in order to achieve high standards when meeting the responsibilities of the role as listed.
- Previous experience of working within the Healthcare, Education & Commercial construction sectors.
- Strong Tender & Contract planning experience.
