Planning Engineer – Oxfordshire

Planning Engineer is required by a organsation based in Oxfordshire to help support the construction and development of project plans for scheduling, resourcing, monitoring and controlling of the delivery of work to meet time and cost targets. My client specialise in the delivery of nuclear and waste management projects and due to busy workloads they are seeking to reinforce their team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide Planning support to live sites.
  • Prepare detailed schedules of work for monitoring and reporting of performance to Senior

Project Managers.

  • Support the Programme Controls Manager/Officer to enable the preparation of monthly

performance progress reports.

  • Support Senior Project Managers in Risk assessment and making changes to baseline

schedules.

 

Desirable Aptitude & Experience

  • Educated to Degree level, or equivalent.
  • Experience in Engineering or Technical background desirable, but not essential.
  • Proactive approach with ability to anticipate problems and provide solutions quickly and

efficiently.

  • Ability to look beyond the immediate issue and appreciate the wider requirements of the

programme.

  • Ability to communicate confidently across all levels of the company.

Familiar with Planning methods and tools.IT literate with PC skills to include Excel (intermediate level) and Word.

  • Ability to work with minimal direct supervision and able to prioritise own workload.

 

On offer is a basic salary of £32,000 per annum plus an attractive benefits package.
