Experienced Planner/Senior Planning Engineer – Top 10 contractor – South East – Primavera P6 – Permanent – Salary up to £55,000 – Civils/Utilities/Water/Infrastructure
My client is a leading, international main contractor. They have been in operation since the 1800’s and currently employ over 55,000 employees world-wide and operate a turnover of £2billion+. The key and most profitable division within this organisation is Infrastructure. Within this division is a rapidly expanding water team that has in the past 6 months won frameworks with all of the key water companies/providers in the UK. The London team has won a number of high profile jobs in recent months with projects ranging up to £200 million.
Due to a high increase in workload, I have been retained to assist this contractor in the recruitment of a number of planning engineers from planner to senior level.
The job:
- Working on sludge and sewage treatment plants
- Tender/bid planning
- Site based planning and programming using Primavera P6
- Client liaison, site visits for new schemes
- Looking after internal and external planning enquiries
- Senior Planner – team mentoring, management and recruitment
The candidate:
Planner:
- Minimum 3 years planning experience
- Minimum 18 months UK water project experience
- Will have worked with waste water/sludge treatment
- Will have a relevant degree or qualification
- Experience of Asta Powerproject (desired)
- Experience of Primavera P6
- Mix of tender and site planning experience
- A valid UK driving license, work permit and visa (ESSENTIAL) candidates who don’t hold this will not be considered due to the level of urgency
- Civils/utilities/infrastructure/main contractor background
Senior Planner:
- Minimum of 5 years planning experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working on UK based water projects
- Conversancy with the use of Asta Powerproject and Primavera P6
- A mix of tender and site planning experience
- Ability to work well as part of a team or on own initiative
- Civils/Utilities/Water/Infrastructure background
- Valid UK driving licence, work permit and visa is essential
