Our clients company is predominantly a construction company, providing project management, engineering, procurement and construction services for Oil & Gas and Petrochemical works, Pipelines and Maintenance of Petrochemical installations & underwater Structures.
The Project Controls Manager will be degree educated and /or have a recognised professional qualification with over 15 years, proven experience in a variety of major projects involving in-depth knowledge of a multidiscipline environment.
The successful Project Controls Manager will be responsible for the project planning & scheduling, field engineering office, sub-contracting, cost control, contract administration stores and materials. This opportunity will requires you to prepare and update programs and contract obligations; these indicate the planned and the actual progress of each separately identified aspects of the project. Other duties will be to provision a monthly and up-to-date compilation of all expenditures on the project as compared to the budget and studies of actual performance data to determine 1. Any variation from the contract programme so that remedial action can be taken at the earliest opportunity 2. Any variances from the budget and their effect on the final costs forecast 3. Information concerning unit cost experience on the various phases of the contract, as a potential reference material for future estimates.
