SENIOR PLANNING ENGINEER/PLANNING MANAGER
Turner and Townsend have a number of opportunities for Senior Planning professionals, both within the UK and globally. Particular opportunities exist for those with infrastructure or mining experience. Planning is central to the delivery of many of our commissions and we are at the forefront of driving planning standards and creating a vibrant and highly competent planning community. We are looking for experienced individuals to join this community and be part of driving increasing professionalism in planning and scheduling. Our planning service is centred around best in class use of Primavera.
Within the UK we have a number of opportunities with a major client intent in delivering a “step change” in planning capability. We require Senior Planning Engineers that are comfortable operating at Integrated Master Schedule and Detailed Control levels; able to interrogate and assure contractor programmes and to work with junior planning staff to develop their capability. We seek individuals very strong in good planning practice who are keen to share their knowledge and propagate best practice.
We also have a number of global opportunities within both the Mining and Infrastructure sectors across South America, Africa and the Middle East. These will be to take the role of Senior Planning Engineer for major construction projects working within client teams. We are looking for individuals with broad experience of all project phases, able to define planning processes and procedures, implement Primavera-based planning systems, establish a formal basis of schedule and subsequently manage all aspects of planning within their respective project areas.
