Senior Planner/Planning Manager – London – Civils & P6 – Permanent – Main Contractor – Salary up to £65,000 + benefits package.
My client is a world renowned, multi-billion euro turnover contractor that works on schemes up to the value of £2 billion and across all sectors. After recently winning a place on a £70 million London based project, I have been retained to assist with the recruitment of an experienced Civils Planner.
Work would be site based on a South London scheme that focuses on rail infrastructure (Crossrail). The individual would work closely with project and design managers and be expected to mentor and manage more junior members of staff. This role offers high levels of career development, progression and training and the chance to work on a highly advertised project within a growing and reputable organisation. The salary on offer for this position is £50-65,000 + £5,000 car allowance, family BUPA, pension, life assurance, rail card and bonus.
Candidate requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years planning experience
- A background working on rail infrastructure projects
- A strong civils background and proven track record
- Strong site/project planning experience and an understanding of the tender process
- Will be happy and willing to travel within the London and M25
- Will ideally live locally and must have held a UK passport for 5 years minimum
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK is ESSENTIAL due to urgency of the role
- Full conversancy with the use of Primavera P6 and Microsoft office
- The ability to delegate, take a leadership and challenge the Project Manager where necessary
