An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planner to join one of the UK’s leading main contracting organisations based in Middlesex.
The position of Senior Planner will see you work on one of the UK’s most lucrative infrastructure programmes.
The Role
The key purpose of the role of Senior Planner is to provide planning management and support to both the pre-contract and contract operations arms of the business on various multi-disciplined building and civil engineering projects.
Responsibilities
The Senior Planner will be responsible for all the technical aspects of planning and programming. Interfacing with the Construction Manager, Project Manager and project team you will use your strong technical knowledge in establishing and agreeing project plans, programmes and schedules.
Other key responsibilities will include assessing progress of each project including the monitoring of any project issues on the critical path leading to the improvement of the baseline programme or the migration of potential delays. Working closely with the commercial team, you will produce earned value analysis (EVA) data in compliance with the company and customer’s requirements as well as attend internal and external progress meetings.

Requirements
If you would like to be considered for this exceptional position, you will need to demonstrate and possess the following:
Extensive experience within the project planning, project and programme management, project controls environment.
Experienced in project management software ideally Primavera P6.
Proven background of working on multi-discipline building, infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
Have current or previous UK project experience.
