Our reputation rests on quality, and on delivering environmentally safe, cost-effective systems, and we’re now looking for an experienced Shutdown Planner to play a full part in maintaining this reputation.
The role
Chairing regular Shutdown planning meetings, you’ll own the Shutdown Management plan. This will include responsibility for establishing, scheduling and controlling an effective plan, including co-ordinating manpower estimates and realistic resource levelling.
Your key duties will include:
- Feeding level 3 shutdown and start-up schedules into the execution plan
- Retrieving relevant potential work scope from the maintenance management system and scheduling in to Shutdown and Operations plans (using P6)
- Developing S curves and planning performance updates
- Managing POB numbers and schedules
- Compilation of planning progress reports
- Conducting SIMOPs sessions and risk assessment
- Managing various planning interfaces with the Shutdown
- Supporting the Shutdown Manager with general coordinating functions
Skills and qualifications
An experienced energy professional, you’ll need strong organisational and project management skills, together with an in-depth knowledge of plants and procedures in this sector. As a minimum, we’ll be looking for significant experience of Primavera 6. Ideally, you’ll have completed the Primavera 102 training module.
