SBM Atlantia is currently recruiting for a Planner / Scheduler. The Planner / Scheduler is responsible for the development of a computerized Resource Loaded CPM Network for assigned projects with appropriate inputs from project team members. The Planner / Scheduler will update the CPM Network as required; within an appropriate WBS (work breakdown structure); understand the logic driven activities and reports trends that may lead to deviations in the plan; analyzes engineering, vendor and subcontractor’s schedule and advises on recovery and resolution plans; tracks reporting of engineering, procurement and fabrication activities on project(s) and reflects them in the project schedule and plans; reports deviations in productivity and earned value to appropriate cost control group and project manager; and reports trend progress by project contract utilizing appropriate reporting tools (i.e. curves, tables and customized reports).
Planner / Scheduler functions include planning, scheduling, progress measurement, change management implementation and analysis; assisting in the preparation of all Project Controls reports including scheduling updates and analysis, progress reporting, change management and various reporting for management; analysis and reporting for special or specific Planning & Scheduling issues; identification and resolution of problems in the area of Planning & Scheduling; and providing additional analysis and reporting to management as well as external clients as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction Management with preference given to candidates having an advanced degree.
- Candidates should have 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience with oil and gas projects and be proficient in Primavera 6.0, Microsoft Project and Excel. Experience should include resource loading and leveling. General experience in field and home office work environment, experience in project, planning & scheduling, reporting and progress measurement systems.
- Periodic travel for customer and vendor contacts or for site support may be required
