Senior Civils Planning Engineer - Greece

Logmor Projects International Limited is working with our client who is a leading diversified company that carries out construction, engineering, procurement, development and investment activities internationally with emphasis on the Middle East region.

The successful Senior Civils Planning Engineer will be degree educated & ideally be a member of an engineering institution. You will have 15 Years experience of which at least 10 will have been spent in planning and controls, experience gained overseas with a recognised international contractor is an advantage. Scope of experience should ideally include multi-discipline projects, and covering Roads, Infrastructure, Buildings, Petrochemical and Marine. Exposure to Design & Build and B.O.T. type contracts will be advantageous. Experience of Extension of Time Claims preparation and with a background of commercial awareness would also be preferred.

The Job Description:

You will be Based at our clients office in Greece, as a Senior Planning Engineer, being a member of the Construction Support Department reporting directly to the Vice President Construction Support and Quality Management. You will be working time divided between theOffice in Greeceand site visits primarily to the Middle East, but also within the Company’s span of operations worldwide.

Visits to other project offices in Europe, America and the Far East is also required from time to time so expect frequent flying to be considered a routine part of this job.

Summary of primary responsibilities:

To provide all planning services required in the preparation of tenders and proposals, which will generally include all the planning processes and documentation as applicable to those required at project award stage, to prepare, produce and secure all necessary approval of the Contractual Programme required in the stipulated period following project award. This will include Engineering, Procurement and Construction Schedules and associated supporting information including technical narratives, manpower, plant and material resource loading data, weight factoring and progress monitoring data, and cost and cash flow data.   

To perform follow-up assignments for projects as required, including providing consultancy and assistance in further programming studies and participation in preparation of Extension of Time claims.
