Senior Civil Planning Engineer
Logmor Projects International Limited is searching for an experienced Civil Planning Engineer to work for our client in the Mediterranean.
Our client has a fantastic portfolio of projects throughout the world and they currently seek an experienced expatriate Civil Planning Engineer to join their established planning team. This team is made up of the very best planners within Construction, Mechanical etc. The successful Civils planner will work as a global consultant for our client civil projects worldwide.
This opportunity will be based in the Mediterranean, although, all the projects are in the Middle East, Africa, Australia, Asia or the USA. Travelling will be necessary as and when required, to assist the project delivery and/or to help if any projects get into difficulties.
The successful civil planning engineer will be ideally degree educated in Engineering and have a proven 10 years of documented Construction experience in a variety of Civil Projects within a multi – discipline environment, covering both site and office. You will have excellent presentation and communication skills and good interpersonal Skills with confidence to negotiate effectively with Clients and Subcontractors.
The principle duties will be to provide planning, progress monitoring services and have significant impact and input on the planning and organizational issues and relevant decision making of the project’s Senior Management Team also you will review contract documentation to ensure a thorough understanding of the contract requirements along with the ability to develop a fully detailed Project Schedule, proposing amendments and alternatives to it and to the project construction Method Statement as considered advantageous to meet or improve on project targets. Ensure that the project organization chart and all manning schedules are kept up-to-date.
