Our client is a well-known brand within Oil & Gas, and have a heritage stretching back several decades.  Today, they are engaged in a range of leading-edge projects around the world, building facilities from scratch and upgrading and enhancing existing petrochemical infrastructure.  This new opportunity arises at a time of continuing expansion and successful new project wins.



Your role as Lead Planner will be to produce robust, deliverable schedules for oil and gas projects of various kinds.  You must be able to produce plans from scratch, working with engineering drawings alongside the technical team.  Beyond this though, you will really add value by challenging existing ways of working or suggested construction schedules in order to get projects built in a more timely efficient manner.  It’s a key role for the company were you’ll have a critical impact on their future success.  In addition to Planning work, there is also the opportunity for you to get involved in people management and team development.



To be considered, you'll need to meet the following criteria:



- strong background in Project Planning in the Oil & Gas sector;

- demonstrable experience of all phases of project planning, from pre-design through to commissioning;

- fully proficient in Primavera P6;

- ability to work independently.



In return, you'll be rewarded with a salary in the range of £65k - £80k basic + excellent benefits package.  Relocation assistance will be offered in some circumstances.
