Project Controls Director – Oil & Gas – London (ref TB98)

A major global consultancy is looking to recruit a permanent Director of Project Controls for the Oil & Gas Sector in London and the South East.  This is a key strategic recruit for our client, and the position enjoys strong executive-level support.



Your role will be to help deliver revenue and growth targets for the oil and gas sector in London and the South East.  Service streams include project controls and project services, contract advisory services, and management consulting.  Your focus will be split between managing existing clients and commissions, driving new business acquisition, and developing and growing the London team.  It’s an exciting role in a fast-moving market which will also see you interfacing with counterparts in  regional offices around the world. 



In order to be considered, you will need to meet the following criteria:



- strong track record of delivering project controls solutions at senior level, to clients in the oil and gas sectors;

- first-class interpersonal skills: verbal and written communication, ability to develop rapport and influence at senior level;

- demonstrable track record in leading and developing project controls teams;

- excellent technical skills in project controls management.



You will almost certainly be qualified to degree-level or above, and professional qualifications or memberships will be a bonus.  You are likely to be well-connected within the oil and gas world, and will enjoy both business development and project delivery work.  You must also be eligible to live and work in the UK.



In return, you will be rewarded with a salary in the range of £80k - £100k + bonus + car/allowance + pension + private medical insurance.
