This is a superb opportunity for a Senior Planner to join one of the UK’s leading engineering contractors with a £multi-billion turnover.
You will join their infrastructure projects team based in London working on technically demanding projects within the civil engineering market.
The Role
Your main purpose as Senior Planner will be to provide planning management and support to both the pre-contract and contract operations for the business.
Responsibilities
Your primary tasks will include producing tender programmes compliant with ITT, tender sum, design assurance and methodology agreed with suppliers and bid teams along with producing other programme tenderdeliverables as required by the bid team.You will also provide detailed support and assistance to the project in order to enable the team to monitor pinch-points on the critical path and test and change logic where previously agreed to either improve upon the baseline programme or to mitigate potential delays.
The successful Senior Planner must:
Be educated to professional level with a relevant degree or equivalent in a business related discipline
Competent in project management software preferably Primavera Version 6+
Have extensive experience in programme and project management, project planning, including programme controls, project review, and cost and risk analysis
Have an understanding of the impact that commercial events and activities have on the baseline programme
Possess proven experience of working on multi-discipline civil engineering projects, preferably in a rail environment
