Based in London a requirement for a Senior Planner has arisen to manage the planning process during pre-construction and construction phases of building projects. You will be working within a team environment ensuring the programme, methodology and logistics is developed and maintained to suit the project needs, with attention to constraints, budgets and safety & quality.
A salary is on offer up to £65K + package for the right candidate.
Role:
- Develop strong working relationships with clients, consultants, sub-contractors and external parties.
- Responsible for organising all 3rd party constraints, design, procurement and construction information into an integrated programme.
- Work with the team to develop and maintain an integrated project programmes.
- Gathering and recording as built data on live projects.
- Provision of reports and progress information to senior management and clients.
- Provide bid support at tender stage.
Requirements:
- Experience of planning on a variety of building projects. E.g. commercial, hotels, residential, public with values greater than £50m.
- Experience of working on projects with confined access and basements including temporary works.
- The suitable candidate will have experience of Design and Build and traditional contract forms.
- Preference for a qualified builder i.e. MCIOB.
- You will be self motivated, have strong communication and negotiation skills.
- The successful candidate will have a proven track record of project delivery and programme management.
- Relevant industry health and safety management qualifications.
- Competency in utilising planning software. E.g. Asta Powerproject & Primavera.
- Ideally you will have experience of utilising BIM.
