A well-known firm of building contractors is now looking to recruit an Intermediate or Senior Planner to their office in North London.  Joining an established planning team, you’ll start work right away on a range of construction projects, producing plans from tender stage through to build and hand back.  It’s an interesting position, where you’ll be working on high-profile, high-end projects for well-known clients.



To be considered for the role, you will need to meet the following criteria:



- demonstrable track record in planning projects in the UK construction sector, at both tender and construction stage;

- knowledge and experience of multi-storey RC frame buildings;

- deep understanding of how construction projects are put together, from the pre-construction phase all the way through to commissioning.



You are likely to be qualified to ONC level or above in a construction-related subject, although this is not essential.  More important is that you really know buildings project work and can do more than just drive planning software.



Knowledge of Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6 would also be to your advantage, but again not essential.



In return you will be rewarded with an annual salary in the range of £30k - £55k according to experience + car/allowance + flexible benefits package.  There are also excellent career development opportunities available for the long term.
