A leading multi-disciplined civil engineering contractor is seeking a Senior Planner to join the Rail arm of their business. They offer complete services and solutions to the UK’s Rail industry and are recognised and highly respected brand in the industry. This challenging role is to be based in the Midlands with some travel to various sites.
The Role
The key purpose of the role of Senior Planner is to produce programmes from base drawings with planned outputs. You will work closely with the project teams and the client’s planning team in updating programmes with and reporting on progress and any changes to the various schemes.
Responsibilities
The Senior Planner will work closely with the pre contract team in developing accurate and attractive tenders for new work. This will require you to analyse information from the client and develop suitable economic methodologies to produce compliant tender programmes. You will identify necessary temporary works costings and present the finished programme to key members of the project team as well as the client.
Requirements
In order to be considered for this role all applicants will need to demonstrate and possess the following:
Degree qualified or equivalent
Proven experience within the civil engineering or rail markets
Working knowledge of various types of construction contracts
P3e/P6 experience
The Package
In return the successful Senior Planner can expect:
Salary circa £45K dependant on experience

Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays
