Due to the increased demand in their services, a leading rail main contractor seeks and ambitious Planner to join their successful team in the Home Counties.
The Role
The primary function of the role of Planner is to undertake the project planning of potential new business initiatives throughout all of the full tender and projectlifecycle. You will work on a variety of rail and underground orientated projects valued up to £10million.
Responsibilities
The Planner will play an active role within the planning/project teams to help support the achievement of business goals and objectives. You will ensure planning programmes are developed, monitored and reported through all stages of the project planning cycle using P3e.
You will liaise, when required, with Operational or Business Development Managers to assess programme requirements for tender production and ensure these are prepared and monitored to meet the highest standards during the tender process.
Supporting and liaising with the project management team through all stages of the project from tender to completion and post contract review.
This is an office based role which may require occasional travel to various sites.
Candidate requirements
In order to be considered for this role, you must possess and demonstrate the following:
Educated to degree / HNC or equivalent
Solid experience in a planning capacity
Experience in the rail / underground sector
Proficient in the use of P3e
Excellent communications skills
