Our client who are working on a major Civil Engineering scheme require a Project Cost Controls Manager to be based in London.
You will oversee six direct reports focusing on tunneling and ventilation shaft related projects. The team comprises of three planning engineers and three cost engineers.
This team will monitor and maintain project and cost schedules and provide highly critical information on project and cost budget/ forecasts.
The successful applicant will have a proven background working as a Project Controls Manager. You will be expert in both cost management and have a solid appreciation of planning engineering techniques supporting Primavera.
The client requires this post holder to have a successful background of working on major heavy civil engineering schemes, ideally including tunneling, but the later is not essential.
You will be required to communicate effectively at all levels. Presentations to key stakeholders on project updates will be a key part of this role.
You will also be required to hold a professional engineering qualification ideally degree or above.
This is a long term position and rates are negotiable, from £450-500 per day.
