A Lead Planning Engineer is required for multimillion dollar project in Nigeria. Required to lead the planning activities for the project, the successful applicant must have minimum of 8 years planning experience in construction industry preferably oil & gas pipelines and related facilities with some experience in remote environments.
Rotation: 3 months on 3 weeks off

Computer literacy required with MS Project and Primavera P3 skills
Based at project office in Warri, Nigeria reporting to the General Manager Construction
Experience to include but not limited to:
Setting up project schedules, then tracking and monitoring these schedules, providing the Project Manager Team with the essential input for the management of the project.
Insight and experience in various project execution methods both in the base office and at site, combined with a high level of communication, both formal and informal.
Preparation of work breakdown studies and programmes..
Ensuring that work schedules are planned to optimise the use of the company’s resources.
Provision of data including clear and concise project reports to the management team and the client as required.
Production of necessary programmes/schedules at the requisite times reflecting the overall contract requirements.
Continually monitoring and updating of project schedules against performance by relevant interfacing with concerned parties.
Predicting and communicating critical path deviations to enable management to take corrective action.
