Day Rate: £500/day + accommodation
Contract Length: 6‑month rolling contract
Overview:
A long‑term contract opportunity for a hands‑on Site Planner to join a critical civils project at the Low‑Level Waste Repository (LLWR). This is a site‑based role working directly with delivery teams — ideal for planners who prefer boots on the ground.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain short‑term and lookahead programmes
- Monitor progress, identify delays, and flag risks
- Provide regular updates to PM and project controls
- Support engineers and supervisors with upcoming work fronts
- Ensure programmes are realistic, resource‑loaded, and site‑driven
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience as a Site Planner on major civils projects
- Practical, “mud‑on‑boots” mindset
- Proficient in P6 or Asta
- Strong communication across site teams
- Able to work independently in a dynamic environment
