You can copy a cell in MSP and then paste the content as a link into another cell (through paste special, paste link)
Just copying a date into the destination cell won't work because that will normally just impose a constraint and not change the duration.
Cleaver use of formula's in combination with the above links will probably get you there, but remember MSP gets 'nervous' from these links as it keeps recalculating/updating continuously.

Thanks for the reply.I checked it.But the hammock activity not updating itself.suppose we have three activites 1,2 and hammock activity.1 and 2 are tasks and 3 is hammock task which is formed by pasting start date of 1 and finish date of 2.
when i update the task 1 and 2 hammock acitivity is not updating automatic.is there any way.
