Can also update activities using Global Change i.e. SS(WBS,x,y) where x is start position including the separators and y is length.
To update the dictionary see knowledge base article 200252492644 and use Project.xls to export the WBS codes and tiles, then massage this to conform to a previously saved activity code format and then import the activity codes and titles.
Work in a copy or make sure you have good backups before you start.

In my view your WBS coding and defining is not correct which needs to be reviewd thatwhy when you organize, it does not cover the FINAL date of whole project.
Moreover send me your copy of P3 file for correcting this error.

Try organizing first by Project with totals then by WBS. In this way (organizing by activity codes) you make sure you are adding a level above all WBS codes, totals will roll up to the project level. If this works then check on your WBS structure.

There are some spreadsheets (activity.xls) provided with the P3 installation CD, which with a bit of tweaking would let you do this.

Have a look at your wbs Structure I think the problem is there.
Standard P3 setting will not allow this to work correct. (10)
Data - WBS - Structure
Also remember to look at organize and total at the different levels

(Sorry for the duplicated postings since a book falls on the keyboard when I editing.)
Consider the WBS as follows: -
1. Construction of Building
1.1 Phase 1
1.2 Phase 2
1.3 External Works

According to your listed, all 4 items are in Level 1.
would you mind list the WBS value against the item for further details
