I dont see how it could work any other way, because how would you treat grouped activities with multiple calendars? (not just by WBS, but also any other (combined) grouping)

I understand and im agree.
But I think that the ideal should be P5 to allows user to choose which calendar wbs consider.

The original duration in the WBS summary bands is calculated as the following:
Latest Planned Finish - The Earliest Planned Start.
Project Manager uses the default Global calendar to determine the number of timeperiods based on the above calculation.

This means that if your project calendar and the default global calendar are not the same, you can have deviations.
