We are seeking a Senior Environmental / Energy Facilities Planner to support our North African and Middle East Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating comprehensive energy conservation plans for industrial parks and environmental management systems
- Developing plans for energy conservation and sustainability practices
- Working with inter-disciplinary teams to develop new approaches to green production, infrastructure and energy sources
- Validating accuracy of data
Requirements:
- BS/MS in Planning, Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 7+ years experience in environmental sustainability
- Fluency in English with a desire for French language a plus
- Certified Facility Energy Manager and or LEED preferred
- Excellent self-leadership, interpersonal communication skills, and cultural sensitivity with the ability to effectively and tactfully interact with individuals
- Demonstrated ability with client relationship management and consultation
- Ability to quickly adapt to change and demonstrate flexibility to a variety of schedules to meet business needs
- Willingness to work internationally in North Africa and the Middle East; assignments to be a minimum of one year
