No Default Printer Selected

I have P6.1 which I access through a shared server via Citrix.

Have gone in to it after having my laptop re-built and when I select print preview it says "No Default Printer Selected", to state the obvious yes I do have a default printer selected in cintrol panel, I even tried changing the default to my PDF printer and the same message came up! Any ideas how I can fix this?

I am using a Canon printer with windows 10 laptop .to Set the Default Printer in Windows 10

  1. Click Start.
  2. Touch or click Control Panel.
  3. Touch or click Devices and Printers.
  4. Touch and hold or right-click the desired printer.
  5. Touch or click Set as default printer.
