I had a doubt regarding Time Units in Primavera P6.
What is the difference between Unit Format and Duration Format i have attached the screen shot of that. It would be helpful if explained with short example.

The next steps would be :
- define the relationships between your activities (predecessors and successors)
- Set the start date of the first activity
- Set the durations of each activities

Yes! off course this example really help me to understand, Jean i had one more doubt can you guide me what is the sequence of scheduling in primavera i want to start a new project i have created EPS,OBS,WBS and added the activities too so then what will be the next step? It would be great help for me Jean.

The units represents the level of effort you put on an activity ex : 4 hrs/day or 8 hrs/day.
It is basically the units that will appears on the invoice and is usually "hour"
The duration is the elapsed time since the activity was started.
For axample if you work 4 hrs/day during 5 days you have 20 hours spent (units) and 5 days elapsed (duration)
