Right now my company has all of its site managers using MS Project as their scheduling tool. We are trying to move toward P6, however currently we only have one seat and I have become the "database manager" and have been tasked with importing and working with site managers to maintain/progress their schedules.
For some reason when I import their MS Project schedules via .xml file format, everything appears to import properly. Then as we go through and update any durations, or change relationships/dates it has problems showing that in the gantt chart. For example if we change a task duration from 2 days to 4 days both the gantt chart bar as well as the dates do not change unless I manually change them. Any ideas what causes this? How to fix this moving forward?
