Updating the program

Dear Friends

After updating my base program .There is a delay of 29 days & it is showing only in the program.

But in the activities the maximum negative float is -25 only .Any one resolve this issue.....???

I had the same problem. IMO, if it's a milestone, use the 7 day calendar.

In my Base program there are 2 calendors .

1.6 day Calendor

2. 7 days calendor

Which one I have to make as default????

Arun,

In order to avoid the difference, you may assign the Project calendar as default global calendar.

To calculate delays, you should consider the difference between working days and calendar days.

The variance - BL Project finish date should be considered, in that case the delay is 29 calendar days.

Thanks Mohamed. This is of my interest too. Is there a way to show overall total float in the same project calender? Please advice.

e.g. it shows -25 instead of -29.

This is due the difference between the global and project calendars.
