Hello!

I`ve faced the problem when importing from Excel .. I have office 2007 and I can not even import the column. That file name is incorrect, then it is not found information about the user.

If someone had a similar problem, what to do? thank you in advance!

Excel 2007 can import .dbf files. I haven't tried it, since I don't have any, but if you go to the Office button and choose Open then you can set the filter (Files of type) to dBase Files (*.dbf).

Also, is it possible that those .dbf files are really .csv (comma-separated variables) files? Try to open the file in Notepad and see if it is a plain-text file with commas separating the values. If so then you should have no problem importing them. I suppose it is possible that you might need to change the file extension to .txt or .csv and import that way. If there is some other delimiter then you can use the Text Import Wizard to specify the delimiter (go to the Data tab and click the Text to Columns button).
