What is the best practice to integrate schedules when we have a multiple subcon schedules in follows situation:-
Schedule done by WBS
As my understanding, if all schedules have exactly same wbs structure, we won't confront any problem which we can simply import and update onto master schedule, unless the links relationship will be practically has some tricky issue. But what happen if the WBS structure are totally diffrent from master schedule? How do we want to merge the WBS? In this case is it Primavera SDK will play his role to fix the problem?
Schedule done by Activity Codes
Here we've global and project, but that's definitely clear sub-cons won't have global activity codes. So what I've to do is to directly import the activities then later amend the coding as master schedule. I can't foresee yet what is a main obstacle to implement this but sure there will be few steps to fix the problem plus we can use global change to solve the problem.
