A quick overview of our setup:
P6 R8 Proffesional
P6 R8 Web Access via WebLogic
P6 database in MS SQL
There is about 90 projects that are currently active. I'm controlling the dates while various departments will resource the activities with staff. The various departments don't have planners therefore each department head will add and control his own resourcing. This however has created quite a few headaches as they will accidently change dates within the projects. The Primavera Client doesn't offer any security privileges do allow me to remove their ability to change the dates and at the same time allow them to add/change resources.
I did some researching and discovered that by using Primavera Web Access and I can remove their ability to change the dates while still allowing them to resource.
The decision was taken to upgrade to P6 R8 along with the Web Access. Everything is running fine except the histograms in the Web Access is not working and we can't pull reports.
Please help I need to get the histograms up and running or limit the others users' abilities to change dates while still being able to resource.
