Could someone tell me if there is a simple way of assigning a wbc to multiple tasks - I have to issue a contract programme by the end of the day and I have imported a programme without ant WBS codes in it!!

Hi Andrew,
Do the following steps
Go to File - Export
Select spreadsheet
Select Activity
Select Template (modify Template)
Select Columns to be exported to excel spreadsheet (Activity ID, Name & WBS code)
Change WBS code in WBS columns or copy paste (in Excel spreadsheet) the WBS code of activities in the same WBS element.
Make the changes, save the spreadshhet.
Import the same excel file into the project.

Hello Andrew,
I don't know how many tasks you have to assgn; it is possible to drag and drop the tasks inside a specific WBS node: place the mouse pointer on the left of the task name until it becomes a small page, push down the left mouse button and drag the task until it comes under the said wbs node.
it is fast and easy; at least when you not have thousands of tasks!
