When creating a schedule it normal that all the activities will stay as input or aligned on data date or Project start date. After assigning relationship or logic it still will not move until you run the schedule. If finished the logic and run the schedule of course it will follow the logic so even you exported the un-schedule project with logic behind it will automatically move when import back because it will refresh the data and follow the logic assigned. You can only freeze those activities back to original if you remove the logic assigned and change the logic the way you want it to be done.

I think I am a bit lost over here. When you say remove the link, does that mean I have to remove the relationships?? Or something else?
If you ask me to remove the relationships that I have put, that’s little scary.. coz it will take a lot of time to assign the relationship again.. if you refer link to something else then can you please guide me more on that.

You dont need to import it. Just remove the link on your Project and schedule (F9). It should go back to original when you enter it.
