Estimate at completion

Dinesh,

Remaining Cost start from datadate onwards should be the same as Estimate At Completion from datadate onwards.

If your EV = AV then EAC should be the same as AV + ETC (estimate to complete or remaining)

Can you clarify what do you mean by EV is not equal to EAC?

Rodel,

Thank you for your reply.

I understand the formula but before the data date these figures should be equal. Forecast is for the future not for the past.

Basically, my problem is that I am trying to generate a cash flow curve for the future taking account of the existing actuals ( my actual and EV is the same). What is your suggestion. What are the figure I should be using, is it remaining cost, estimate at completion?

Thanks & regards

Dinesh,

EV = Physical Progress x BAC

EAC = Actual + Forecast to complete

Of course that is not the same.
