2 Critical paths for COE (US Government) projects

Dear James,



The critical path is a result of your modeling. You can have as many as you want!



The scheduling tool uses CPM. It does not matter what type of software you are using.



List the activitie, connect them, put the resources and durations as per your requirements and you will get what you want.

I suppose you have two delivery milestones in your contract and that by using “Finish not Latter Than” Constraints you can create the two critical paths.



Eventually this might create negative float and the implications that go with the use of this aberrant functionality.



Another way to create multiple critical paths in P3 is by setting open ends as critical.
