I'd like to hear how other Schedule Managers or Project Controls Manager handle getting timely schedule updates from those responsible in performing the updates. Currently I'm charged with maintaining a portfolio of 15 projects. There are 13 Project Managers who I have performing the status updates, prior to my review, and the updated schedule being issued to the owner/subcontractors/etc. Data dates may be different depending on project requirement. What I'm looking for is someway to automate this process to remind my Project Managers to start the update and remind them when it's due.
